37x14x16r S.S. Iroks/4wheelparts.com
Part I
IROKS, Super Swamper's new development. This truck will see more road then mud for a few years, but why not get a review on their new design which features the 3 stage lug design along with a softer build compared to more known Boggers or TSL's.
Part II
In total, $1300 was spent for 37x14x16 Super Swamper Irok Bias Ply, and some basic black steel wheels. The tires ran for $216 a piece and rims about $70 or so. I also had them mount, balance, and air up the tires for like $20 a wheel. Shipping to my front door was $140 approx. Fine. 4WheelParts.com is a great place to order your shit from, but I hate their shipping company. Read Part III to see why. The other cool thing is, they gave me a few spare "extra strength" valve stems as a spare.
Part III
Alright, so my tires finally came in after I checked on the order. I had to set an appointment with the shipping company for a "window" of time that they could drop it off. They said to me, from 10-3; I agreed. I had to stay home from school to wait for them to come to help unload and to sign for them since no one would be home. So I waited, didn't go in the pool or anything because the second I got in, they'd call and say they were out front. Also, the company says they'd call me when they are nearby, did I get a call? NO! I had to do my driving for my permit (SHUT UP) at 2:15, so I left and did my driving and everything, never got a call. Get home, they are on the driveway (my step mom came home) They got here at 4:52 PM. WHAT THE FUCK IS THAT SHIT? TWO HOURS LATE AND NO HEADS UP OR ANY SHIT! The only reason I wouldn't order any overweight things from 4WheelParts.com is because of their shipping partners. These things fit perfect on an '80s Chevy with a 6" lift.

I'll have better pictures up once I paint the beast.

Need a lift? Low on cash? Don't want to take a chance with lift blocks or a crappy body lift? When low on cash these are your only options for the most part. This has all changed. Now you can have your leaf spring mounts replaced with a longer one that will match your front lift or to your specifications. You simply remove the old mounts and bolt on the new ones! This review will be released soon.
Overdrive Relay Kit/CBowtie Overdrives
Bowtie Overdrive has a prodcut called a "Relay Kit" which gives you the ability to run a 700r4 along with any Chevy/GM overdrive transmission with ANY model/brand truck that has working electric brake lights! Soon to be installed, Jesse will install his and will tell you everything you need to know. Exterior kits run for $30, and interior and exterior wiring is $70.
Part I
I received the kit yesterday and so far it is pretty cool. The one thing I didn't like that isn't truck related is that on your receipt it has your complete credit card number, your expiration date, along with anything you need to use it to order anything you would like if you were to steal the package. Though once you see the pictures below you’ll understand why I like this company so much. It has full color instructions on how to install; they basically hold your hand throughout the whole install. It has every part you need, you only need tools, every single piece is there and you won’t need to dig through your tool boxes junk drawers. I will be installing it Saturday morning with my step mom’s cousin, he had helped me do my motor, yank my Trans, and put my axles in. So this guy is the reason my truck is in one, almost moving piece. Anyways, I’ll let you know how easy we can get it done and the length it takes us to do it.
Here are the pictures:
This is one of the parts bags that includes the part that goes to the transmission and what connects to the next kit, or so I think.

The second part, this connects to, I have no idea. To tell you the truth, this one may run to the transmission. I guess we'll see.

These are the color instructions.

Part II
Alright, so after finally receiving my damn overdrive kit, which took long enough, I and my cousin started installing it. (He’s a mechanic so I stayed there with my tail in-between my legs) We had a hell of a job, they send you too many parts and not enough parts you need. The directions were wrong, and when they say “External Kit” it means you have to take all your transmission fluid out, change your transmission gasket, and hope to god you read the pictures correct and take out the right parts. The wire wasn’t long enough for the inside of the trans. The best thing about this kit was the fact that any wiring in the transmission can be removed since you do not have a computer on board and thats what all that clutter is for. It is replaced with one wire and that is it! The part that pissed me off the most was that the wire wasn’t even crimped on, we were going to plug it in and it popped off. For the price, I mean it got done, but it’s a pain in the ass. For installation it takes about an hour or so, so it won’t take forever for you guys with A.D.D. In my kit, I missed a female connector so we had to cut the plastic casing covering one of the lines since they didn’t give us a male. That was pain in the ass #2. So we ran through the firewall and along a frame with a rubber hose to protect from vibrations. Fine, good, whatever. Then, as we look at the wiring diagrams we notice it isn’t labeled right, so you need a wire tester. The way to tell if this works is put the key in, turn it to accessory and press the brake and listen for a click. If that happens, then your set, if not, then it sucks to be you.
Here are the old wires halfway removed. All can be removed.

The new wire. If you order one of these kits look here to see where goes where, the pictures in the directions are shit.
